Scott Kiefer, PhD, of the mechanical engineering department at York College of Pennsylvania, will be the guest speaker at the "Workshop on Everyday Examples in Engineering (E3)" on Nov. 9, 2:30-4 p.m. in Tiernan Room 406  In addition to Kiefer, NJIT Professors Denis Blackmore and N.M. Ravindra, co-investigators on the NJIT Engage E3 team, will describe opportunities for student research assistants, and an E3 competition to create new examples, with prizes offered for the best entries.
