The recently reinstated Xi Pi Chapter of Order of Omega at NJIT was recognized in the society's national newsletter for December 2011/January 2012. First chartered on December 7, 1994, the chapter initiated its first class on January 25, 1995 and did very well until going inactive in 2008. Xi Pi reactivated in October 2011 and just recently initiated its first class of Greek leaders. Order of Omega is a national leadership honor society with over 500 chapters in North America that recognize students for their scholarship, leadership, character, and service to the Greek, campus and local community.
