Apply Now for Provost's Summer Undergraduate Research Program

NJIT undergraduate students interested in a summer research opportunity are encouraged to apply for a limited number of summer research awards. Any current NJIT student who will be an undergraduate in the fall semester 2012 may apply. The program runs from May 21 to July 27, 2012. The student award amount is $2,800. Awards are intended to involve full-time participation for a period of 10 weeks during summer 2012; students should not be engaged in outside employment or coursework during this period. All award winners are expected to participate in the NJIT Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium on July 25, 2012. Faculty advisors and undergraduate students are highly encouraged to involve and mentor a high school student on the project during the summer project period if an interested student is available. The application, research proposal, and faculty letter of support must be submitted to mailto:UGResearch@njit.edu  by 5 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 29, 2012.
