NJIT Professor Wins Best Paper Award

Dr. Marguerite Schneider, associate professor in the School of Management, has won the 2012 Best Paper Award of the Organization Development and Change (ODC) Division of the Academy of Management (AoM).  AoM is the largest body dedicated to the study of business management issues. “Leadership In a Complex Adaptive System: Insights from Positive Deviance,” co-authored with Curt Lindberg of Complexity Partners, explores the results of a long-term project to reduce staphylococcus aureus (MSRA) infection at Maine Medical Center through “Positive Deviance” (PD), which is an organizational change technique.  The paper will be presented at the AoM Conference in August in Boston and will be published in its Best Paper Proceedings.
