Brooks Atwood, assistant professor of industrial design, will be participating in this year’s Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA) International Conference & Education Symposium. The conference, entitled "The Future Is...," takes place in Boston, MA on August 15-18, 2012. The IDSA is the world's oldest, largest, member-driven society for product design, industrial design, interaction design, human factors, ergonomics, design research, design management, universal design and related design fields.
Atwood, who is a professional member of the IDSA and the founding advisor of the student chapter at NJIT, will be presenting a paper and poster at the conference. "Think Pieces (or WWLGD?)" will show how thinking big can both inspire and transform design education.
