The department of civil and environmental engineering will host their first seminar of the 2012-2013 academic year.  Dr. Abhijit Mukherjee, director of Thapar University Patiala, India, will talk on “Sustainable Cement Using Bacterial Calcite Deposition.”  The seminar, which will discuss bacterial deposition and its microscopic characterisation, will be held on Sept. 27 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. in Colton Hall 416.
