Humanities Professor Gives Presentations in Saudi Arabia

Humanities associate professor Carol Johnson recently gave two presentations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.  One was an invited talk at the College of Arts at King Saud University and the other was at the First International Conference on Assessment and Evaluation, hosted by The National Center for Assessment in Higher Education and King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud.  Johnson’s topics were “Writing Assessment” and “Postsecondary Placement and Rapid Assessment: Setting Standards and Engaging Automated Essay Evaluation,” the latter in collaboration with Andrew Klobucar and Norbert Elliot.
