NJIT Professor Named Emerald Honoree

Treena Livingston Arinzeh, professor in NJIT’s Department of Biomedical Engineering, was recently nominated 2013 Emerald Honoree in the category of Educational Leadership.  The 2013 Emerald Honorees are distinguished innovators making a difference in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) fields.  The nation’s finest minority researchers and executive-level decision makers in science shared in the spotlight at the annual BEYA STEM Conference in Washington, D.C. held Feb. 7-9.

Arinzeh will also be inducted as a fellow to the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) on Feb. 17.
