MRC Elsevier Distinguished Lecture on April 2
James Rice, Mallinckrodt Professor of Engineering Sciences and Geophysics at Harvard University, will present “Materials Physics of Faults in Rapid Shear and Consequences for Earthquake Dynamics” on April 2 from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. in GITC Room 1100.
Applying To Faculty Positions: A Workshop for PhD Students & Postdocs on April 4
The graduate section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is organizing a first-ever event at NJIT-- a workshop to train NJIT PhD students and postdocs to the details of the process for applying to academic jobs. The event, open to both men and women, is organized by SWE and sponsored by the Newark College of Engineering (NCE) and will take place in GITC 3170.
