Sherlene Ayala, assistant director for Leadership and Diversity, recently spoke at The Student Affairs Conference at NYU, a one-day professional development opportunity open to administrators, faculty, and graduate students to share ideas and expertise regarding a wide array of issues in higher education and student affairs.  This year’s theme was social justice and being agents of change.  Ayala’s topic was “Disconnections on a College Campus: Using Relational-Cultural Theory with Women of Color.”
