NJIT Participates in Summer Food Service Program
The New Jersey Institute of Technology will be participating in the 2013 Summer Food Service Program from June 26, 2013 to August 8, 2013. The Summer Food Service Program is a federal Program of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Services. All children 18 years of age and under who are enrolled in New Jersey Institute of Technology, Center for Pre-College Programs will receive the same free meal in accordance with a menu approved by the state agency regardless of race, color, national, origin, sex, disability or age. Below are the income guidelines used for determining children’s eligibility for free meals.

FAMILY SIZE/INCOME SCALE FOR FREE MEALS

Children who are part of households that receive food stamps or benefits under the Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TNAF) are automatically eligible to receive free meal benefits at eligible program sites.
Meals are available without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.
