NJIT Holds First Renaissance Faire
NEWARK, Apr 25 2013
NJIT’s first Renaissance Faire, held on campus on April 19, was a festive event featuring performers that entertained crowds with live jousting, fortune telling, tarot card reading and belly dancing. Activities included horse rides, a petting zoo, blow up jousting and foam swords and a castle bouncy house. Participants could also dress up in costumes and have their picture taken or create their own crown, goblet or shield. The exciting event was sponsored by Residence Life, Gourmet Dining, the Dean of Students Office and the Residence Hall Association.
