NJIT Board of Trustees Recognizes Distinguished Professor Atam Dhawan

On Nov. 17, the NJIT Board of Trustees recognized Atam Dhawan, vice provost for research and distinguished professor in the Helen and John C. Hartmann Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, for his recent accomplishments. The International Academy of Medical and Biological Engineering inducted Dr. Dhawan as a Fellow for his distinguished contributions to and leadership in the field of medical and biological engineering at an international level. On Oct. 27, Dr. Dhawan received an Innovator Award from the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame for his patent, "Multilevel Dynamic Data Security System," an invention which uses a novel integration of two subsystems to provide a highly dynamic security system of internet and intranet communication.
