Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition this month. The case deals with distracted driving/walking resulting from the use of wireless electronic communication devices. "It was a good experience working with the Mock Trial Committee in a technical capacity. This provided a wonderful opportunity to evaluate an all-too-real scenario and help shape the technological and technical aspects of the case toward that same level of realism. I am grateful to know that the assistance I provided has been useful to the Mock Trial Committee, and I thank my advisor, Dr. Cristian Borcea, for initially forwarding this opportunity to me." “We greatly appreciate NJIT's input in this year's mock trial case, which we hope will be not only academically challenging but will help to change driving habits and prevent tragic accidents,” said Richard J. The processing costs range from $30-75 per ton, depending on feedstock,  and they can be scaled to industrial levels of production using proven equipment.

Erzhen Gao, PhD, director of research and development for the company, will lead the effort. “Eventually, we hope to see our system upgrade existing MRI scanners because our coils can enhance installed MRIs, enabling them to produce cleaner, clearer and easier-to-read images at an affordable price,” he said.
