Rothenberg, PhD, is on tour this week performing whale-related music throughout Finland, Sweden and Arctic Norway with Whale Kit, a group of electronic musicians from Russia. Rothenberg will receive the third annual NJIT Board of Overseers Excellence in Research Prize and Medal on October 6, 2010.

Architecture Alums Win First Place in NY Architecture League Design Charrette Competition http://www.njit.edu/news/2010/2010-225.php http://www.njit.edu/news/2010/2010-225.phpThu, 17 Jun 2010 00:00:00 -0400 A team comprised of New Jersey School of Architecture alumni Justin Foster '08, Lauren Page '08, and Phil Kuehne '07 of the design collective KIT won first place in the New York Architecture League's design charette competition. Their winning design, which features hundreds of hula hoops forming a connected canopy, will be part of a temporary summer installation in the backyard of the SUPERFRONT art gallery to host events for New York City Explorers, a Brooklyn-based nonprofit group.
