Farrow, PhD, who with his research team have discovered how to make nanoscale arrays of the world's smallest probe for investigating the electrical properties of individual living cells was awarded yesterday, Oct. 4, 2012, the NJIT Board of Overseers Excellence in Research Prize and Medal.  This prize is the most prestigious research award at NJIT.  It is the fifth time the award has been made.

Narh, PhD, associate chair and undergraduate advisor for the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, presented a poster at the National Science Foundation Engineering Education Awardees Conference held in Reston, VA from Feb. 1-3. The title of his poster was “Outcomes and Lesson Learnt at the REU-site on Engineered Nano-Composite Particulate Materials.” Narh also recently presented a paper titled “Influence of Deagglomeration States of Carbon Nanotubes on the Thermal and Mechanical Properties of Nanocomposites” at AsiaNaNo 2008, the 2008 Asian Conference on Nanoscience and Nanotechnology.
