GLOBECOM 2010 received 4614 paper submissions and a total of 11 papers have been selected to receive the best paper awards.

Doctoral Student Is Runner-Up in IEEE Poster Competition

Khondaker M. Salehin, a PhD candidate in the ECE Department at NJIT, was the runner-up in the Student Poster Competition of the IEEE Sarnoff Symposium 2010 in Princeton. Salehin presented a scheme to measure link capacity and available bandwidth for wired networks. This work was developed in the Networking Research Laboratory under the supervision of Roberto Rojas-Cessa, PhD, an associate professor in NJIT's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

New Jersey Network (NJN) News will air a segment tonight about a team of NJIT students who are designing an unmanned vehicle that will compete in the Grand Challenge, a 175-mile race in the desert.
