The win marks the first NJIT victory for new head coach Margaret McKeon and the first for the Highlanders this year. >>

Four members of the 2005 NJIT baseball team will participate in the annual New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association All-Star Game on Monday, May 30 at First Energy Park in Lakewood, home of the Class A Lakewood Blue Claws. NJIT's selections are seniors Dan Lupo (at left), Zach Porcello, and Phil Resciniti and junior Chris Legiadre. The game's format will pit the Division I All-Stars versus the Division II/III All-Stars in one nine-inning game beginning at 1 p.m. >>

Chris Legiadre, a junior pitcher for NJIT, was named New Jersey Collegiate Baseball Association (NJCBA) Division II/III Co-Pitcher of the Week, the NJCBA announced today. It is the third NJCBA Pitcher of the Week award for Legiadre this season. Legiadre was honored following his complete-game victory over Caldwell in the CACC Tournament last Friday. >>

NJIT junior pitcher Chris Legiadre recorded a career-high 13 strikeouts as the Highlanders defeated host Felician College, 6-3, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) baseball action Tuesday afternoon at Richmond County Bank Park. The game was the CACC opener for both schools. >>
