Two NJIT Sports Accept Invitations to Compete in Division I Conferences

Two NJIT sports, women's tennis and men's soccer, have been invited to join and accepted membership in conferences whose championship team receives an automatic spot in the postseason NCAA Division I championship field. >>
NJIT senior right-hander Mark Leiter, Jr. struck out 20 Chicago State batters in a nine-inning 5-3 win for the Highlanders Friday night. Leiter's 20 strikeouts were the most nationally in a 2013 NCAA Division I game and the most in NJIT program history.
