The NJIT community officially welcomed the incoming Class of 2018 and recognized faculty and staff excellence during the annual Convocation ceremony on September 10, 2014. >>
In a showcase of NJIT's new research talent, a symposium and poster session on campus this week presented the university's growing expertise in scholarly fields ranging from health care informatics, to biochemistry, to architecture, while highlighting the potential for multidisciplinary collaborations to address pressing 21st century challenges. >>
New NJIT faculty members will present their research interests through poster presentations at a symposium to be held on March 6 from 2-4:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom.  >>

The NJIT Research Committee will host the NSF CAREER Award Workshop on April 3 from 11:30 – 2:30 p.m. in 112 Eberhart Hall.  The objectives of the workshop are to provide an open forum for the newly hired faculty members to interact with the NSF CAREER awardees on campus and help them jump-start their CAREER proposal preparation and submission.  >>
The NJIT Faculty Council Standing Committee on Research will host a Pre-award and Grantsmanship Seminar on Jan. 30, from 11:30 am - 2:30 p.m. in Eberhardt Hall (Room 112).  The Office of Provost and Office of Research and Development are sponsors.  >>

The talents of more than 20 new faculty members will soon add momentum to NJIT's strategic plan for impacting the quality of life in the 21st century. The interdisciplinary initiative focuses on convergent life science and engineering, “digital everyware”-- ubiquitous computing-- and sustainable systems. >>
Assistant Professor Matt Burgermaster has won the 2011-2012 ACSA Faculty Design Award from the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture (ACSA) for his project “Ice Cycle House.” >>

"Une Petite Bouteille," a bronze interpretation of a Klein bottle by nanotechnology research pioneer, entrepreneur and former NJIT research professor Robert B. Marcus, PhD, was officially dedicated today in Eberhardt Hall.   >>
