With the goal of increasing the enrollment and retention of women students of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at NJIT, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Newark College of Engineering have joined forces to develop a new mentorship program for women in STEM.

NJIT undergraduate students interested in a summer research opportunity are encouraged to apply for a limited number of summer research awards. Any current NJIT student who will be an undergraduate in the fall semester 2012 may apply. The program runs from May 21 to July 27, 2012.
