The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) NJIT Graduate Chapter, in conjunction with the Northern New Jersey Section of the AIAA, recently hosted a two-day glider building event and competition at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). “No FEAR: A Whistleblower's Triumph” is the title of a lecture by the founder of the No FEAR Coalition Marsha Coleman-Adebayo set for Feb. 20, 2013 in the NJIT Campus Center Ballroom.  The event is free and open to the public.  Street parking is available.  Coleman-Adebayo is the Director of the National Whistleblowers Center. >>

With the goal of increasing the enrollment and retention of women students of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) at NJIT, the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) and Newark College of Engineering have joined forces to develop a new mentorship program for women in STEM.  >>
NJIT undergraduate students interested in a summer research opportunity are encouraged to apply for a limited number of summer research awards. Any current NJIT student who will be an undergraduate in the fall semester 2012 may apply. The program runs from May 21 to July 27, 2012. >>
