Katrina Hornstein, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the Presidential Leadership Award for undergraduate students today from NJIT Dean of Students Jack Gentul at the annual Highlander Student Achievement Awards ceremony. Jaskirat Sodhi, a PhD student in mechanical engineering, received the award in the graduate student category. The awards recognize outstanding student leaders, student staff, campus organizations and programs as well as department and college award recipients. >>

NJIT senior Felicia Amaechi, president of the NJIT section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), accepted the award for Outstanding Student Group yesterday from Dean of Students Jack Gentul at the Highlander Student Achievement Awards ceremony.
