Think NJIT when it’s time to brush up on certification skills. Four non-credit courses in iPhone application development, underground storage tank regulations, online pen Source Unix certification, and Solar Panel Installations will be available from NJIT starting as early as June and throughout the summer. Each course is open to the general public and will help state residents gain skills to seek and keep jobs.

Beginning on May 24, NJIT's Division of Continuing Professional Education will offer four non-credit professional development programs in iPhone and iPad Application Development; Solar Panel Installation Training; Underground Storage Tank Regulation Review; and Open Source Unix Certification. All of these courses are open to the general public and will help NJ residents obtain new skills to seek and keep jobs.

Have an idea for an iPhone application, but don’t know how to make it happen or can’t afford to take a course? NJIT will offer free tuition for an online iPhone application development non-credit course. The 10-week online course will begin Oct. 19, 2009. An NJIT instructor will teach it and students who successfully complete it will receive three continuing education units from NJIT. >>
