Mendonça Receives NSF AwardDavid Mendonça, assistant professor in the department of information systems, received a National Science Foundation (NSF) award entitled "SGER: Hurricane Katrina Debris Removal Operations: The Role of Communication and Computing Technologies." Mendonça currently is in his first year of a five-year award from the NSF.
Post-Doctoral Students Awarded FellowshipsKathleen Gilbert, Jason Steffener, post-doctoral graduates at NJIT, were awarded fellowships from the New Jersey Technology Fellowship program. Launched in April, the program helps move cutting-edge research from the lab to the marketplace by providing funding to emerging high-tech companies that hire post-doctoral graduates from New Jersey research universities.
