The NJIT student chapter of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) will host the society’s Regional Student Leadership Conference on March 19, 2005, 8:30 a.m.-10 p.m. in the Campus Center. Some 250 Hispanic students from 45 colleges will attend the conference, which offers student leaders from SHPE chapters in the northeast a chance to meet and share knowledge. Maria Hernandez, director of Business Resiliency and Security Solutions at IBM Corp., will speak during the conference luncheon.
