James McHugh, PhD, of Bloomfield, professor in the department of computer science, received Master Teacher Designation, at NJIT’s University Convocation, an annual celebration held on Sept. 2, 2009.  

Methi Wecharatana, PhD, of Parsippany, a professor in the department of civil and environmental engineering at NJIT, received a master teacher designation at NJIT’s recent annual convocation.

NJIT will mark, once again, the new school year with University Convocation, an annual celebration and awards ceremony recognizing students, faculty and staff accomplishments. 

NJIT Physics Professor John Federici, PhD of Westfield, received a master teacher designation at NJIT’s annual convocation on Sept. 5. This designation is conferred annually on a select number of individuals who have demonstrated the highest level of excellence over a sustained period,” said NJIT Provost Priscilla Nelson.

NJIT Chemical Engineering Professor Robert Barat, PhD, of Franklin Park, received an excellent teacher designation at NJIT’s annual convocation on Sept. 5, 2007.

NJIT Mathematics Professor Amitabha Bose, PhD, of Brooklyn, NY, received a master teacher designation at NJIT’s annual convocation on Sept. 5, 2007.

Louise Castronova, special lecturer in the department of humanities at NJIT, received at NJIT’s annual awards convocation an award for her teaching.

Norbert Elliot, PhD, a professor in the department of  humanities at NJIT, received a master teacher award at NJIT’s annual awards convocation.
