Thirty-five NJIT faculty members and graduate students will present posters describing new research in a wide range of disciplines supported by the National Science Foundation-funded NJIT ADVANCE Program on March 30, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Campus Center Atrium. Sheryl Sorby, National Science Foundation Program Director for Undergraduate Education and former chair of Engineering Fundamentals and associate dean of engineering at Michigan Tech, will discuss the correlation between well-developed spatial skills and success in engineering, computer science, chemistry and computer-aided design on April 15 at 2:30 p.m. in Eberhardt Hall Room 112. The presentation is co-sponsored by the NJIT/NCE Extension Services in Engineering Project Team and the NSF-funded NJIT ADVANCE Project.
