Graduating seniors in NJIT’s popular CCS Capstone Program will take to the stage on campus next week when they explain how they have solved “real world problems” for corporate and company clients, including CACI, Audible, Inc., and RDE Systems. Some students will even feature entrepreneurial projects that grew from the other work.

Student teams will present their real-world projects at "Dream without Limit," the 13th Annual Capstone Student Showcase on May 3, 2-5:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Atrium at NJIT. The Spring 2010 showcase will feature real-world projects sponsored by industry or initiated by entrepreneurial students; an active open house for new sponsors, university students, and partners; a one-of-a-kind Fast Career Fair to connect students instantly to job opportunities and connect companies to potential hires; and more. A pioneering educator at NJIT who strongly believes in experiential learning was today named 2007 New Jersey Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching. Osama Eljabiri, a senior university lecturer who founded, taught and continues to develop the senior project capstone course program at NJIT’s College of Computing Sciences, was recognized for his diligence and dedication for promoting this new type of learning.
