Gould Award for Excellence in Teaching Technical Communication from the Society for Technical Communication. >>

Jason Peist '08, a member of the design team at TMR and Associates, P.C. in Rutherford, was named the AIA NJ Intern Architect of the Year for 2009. An early graduate of the 5-year bachelor of architecture program and the Albert Dorman Honors College in December 2008, Jason is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Professional and Technical Communication program at NJIT.  >>

George Roa's life is a classic American story of an industrious immigrant who uses education as an avenue to economic betterment for both him and his family. He will graduate from NJIT on May 26 at the top of his class. He majored in professional and technical communication and has a near-perfect cumulative grade-point average of 3.9.  "I do think America is still the land of opportunity,” he said. “The opportunities are here but you must open your imagination and look for them.” >>
