NJIT Defense Procurement Technical Assistance Center To Host Joint Base Procurement Fair

The NJIT Defense Procurement Technical Assistance Center, in partnership with Joint Base M-D-L, the U.S. Army Reserve Contracting Center and the NAVAIR Small Business Program, will host a Joint Base Procurement Fair on August 13, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Burlington County College in Mt. Laurel. Colonel Gina M. Grosso, Joint Base Commander, will give the welcoming address. Registration fee: $15 per company. To register, click here.

Dolcey Chaplin likes to say that she helps put New Jersey to work. Chaplin, an attorney by profession, is the executive director of the Defense Procurement Technical Assistance Center (DPTAC) at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). The Center is a free source of practical education and useful assistance for the New Jersey business community to help obtain government contracts.

Keeping small businesses alive in a down economy is tough. But it’s easier if you know New Jersey Institute of Technology’s (NJIT) Dolcey Chaplin. Since 1986, Chaplin, an attorney, who’s a resident of Ridgewood, has directed a successful program at NJIT.
