On April 23, the College of Computing Sciences (CCS) Capstone Showcase will take place in the Campus Center Atrium from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. The biannual Capstone program gives CCS seniors a chance to put their cumulative learning to the test by creating real solutions to real world problems. >>

CCS Capstone & HS Real World Connections (RWC) will be hosting the 25th Real World Projects Showcase on Aug. 1 from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom.  >>

The 19th Annual Capstone Showcase, “Power of Technology” will be held on Dec. 5.  The event, which showcases the work of students from the college of computing sciences and is an opportunity for networking, will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the Campus Center Atrium. >>

Fourteen high school and middle school teams will present their real world projects at the College of Computing Sciences Capstone Program and Real World Connections (RWC) Project Showcase and Awards Ceremony on June 11, 1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Atrium.  >>

Sixteen high school and middle school students will show off their high tech prowess to parents and business sponsors on Aug. 11, 2010, during the closing ceremony of the NJIT 2010 Summer Capstone and Real World Connections Programs for high school students.  Both programs, which are sponsored by the NJIT College of Computing Sciences (CCS), enable pre-college and college students to collaborate on projects for area businesses, corporations and others. >>
Sixteen high school and middle-school students and seven CCS college capstone teams will present their real world projects sponsored by businesses and nonprofit organizations at the Summer 2010 Real World Connections and Capstone Project Showcase, Award Ceremony and Fashion Show on August 11, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. in the Campus Center Ballroom. The showcase also will feature entrepreneurship projects proposed and developed by high school students. Fashion show admission fees are $5 for students and $10 for others. High school students enrolled in NJIT's Real World Connections Summer Internship Program will be recognized for their achievements at an awards ceremony on August 7, 12:30-4 p.m. at the Enterprise Development Center 3, 211 Warren Street, Conference Room 407. Through the Capstone Open University Connections Program, students work in small project teams to solve real-world problems based on scenarios drawn from actual industry cases in a broad array of fields, including health, communications, sports, and entertainment. >>
