NJIT's Division of Career Development Services will host the Seventh Annual Recruitment Partner Program on Dec. 2, 2009, 4-6 p.m. in the Campus Center Atrium. The focus of the meeting will be "Community Investment Partnerships: The Next Generation." >>
In partnership with NJIT, the American Conference on Diversity will present its Annual Statewide Conference on Issues in Higher Education on Nov. 13, 2009 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NJIT. Luke Visconti, CEO of Diversity Inc. Media LLC will be the keynote speaker. "Diversity Initiatives: Facing Challenges in Tough Times" is the theme of this year's conference. High school students and their parents can obtain valuable information on admissions procedures, tour the campus, explore the wide range of undergraduate degree programs and minors and more at NJIT's Fall Open House on Oct. 25, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.  Participants will have the opportunity to visit residence halls, classrooms, and athletic facilities and see academics in action with demonstrations like the hydraulics lab in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The Admissions Marketing Report has honored NJIT with a merit award for its Total Undergraduate Recruitment Package in the 22nd annual Admissions Advertising Award competition. NJIT received the award in the division for schools with student enrollments between 5,000-9,999. >>

NJIT is one of 28 New Jersey colleges and universities that have teamed up to offer the region's first online jobs database aimed at helping higher education institutions attract and retain a diverse work force. The New Jersey Higher Education Recruitment Consortium, which is free to job seekers, was launched on Nov. 15 and allows job seekers to search the full range of positions at colleges and universities. >>
