At a time when America is at war in the Middle East, New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) hosts Arab Awareness Week – a celebration of Arabic culture, religion, history and science. The week, sponsored by the Arab Students Association, the Jewish Student Organization, the Christian Fellowship and the Muslim Students Association, bespeaks the civil diversity of the NJIT student body.
