NJIT Research Professor Reginald Farrow and NJIT Professor Gordon Thomas were the recipients last night of an Edison Patent Award from the Research & Development Council of New Jersey. The event kicked off the Council’s 50th Anniversary celebration and honored more than 30 inventors and 13 New Jersey companies and universities.

An expert in digital data forensics and information assurance, Yun-Qing Shi, a professor of electrical and computer engineering at NJIT, will number among 30 New Jersey inventors from eight companies and universities to be honored at the upcoming 2010 Thomas Alva Edison Patent Awards on Nov. 4. Hosted by the Research & Development Council of New Jersey, the ceremony and reception will take place at the Liberty Science Center.

NJIT To Host New Jersey Science Olympiad Regional Competition
January 10, 2007
More than 500 students representing 17 high schools and 17 middle schools in the state will travel to NJIT tomorrow to compete in the New Jersey Science Olympiad. NJIT will host the event for the first time this year and also is a co-sponsor with the Research and Development Council of New Jersey. NJIT faculty and staff will supervise and judge the 16 different events. >>
