Two NJIT undergraduates will attend an elite 11-week paid summer internship program sponsored by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD. Some 150 students from universities throughout the nation will participate in the prestigious program which involves a rigorous acceptance process.  >>

Peter Gordon, PhD, assistant professor in the department of mathematical sciences at NJIT, will describe some major mathematical ideas used in analysis of reaction diffusion equations and systems on May 28 at 10 a.m. in Cullimore Hall, Room 611. "Reaction Diffusion Equations 101" is the title of his lecture, which kicks off the Summer Program Seminar Series.  >>

Last summer, Natasha Stroedecke, age 10, studied environmental engineering at NJIT. She delighted in raising tadpoles into frogs, observing earthworms and analyzing the nocturnal habits of owls. This summer, Natasha will return to NJIT to take a class she’s even more excited about: aeronautical engineering. >>
