Local college students who are hunting for jobs will have a chance to interview with officials from prominent companies during a collaborative career fair hosted by NJIT, Essex County College, Rutgers University-Newark, and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey on Feb. 1, 2-6 p.m. at The Robert Treat Hotel, Newark. >>

New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) will host a free public concert on Dec. 8 featuring musical groups from NJIT, Rutgers-Newark, Essex County College and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ).  The concert is scheduled for 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. in the Jim Wise Theatre at NJIT's Kupfrian Hall, just north of the intersection of Warren and Summit Streets. The concert is open to the public and parking is available. >>

For the first time in the city's history, all five of Newark's colleges will host a collaborative career fair that will allow employers to meet a diversely talented pool of students from the five schools: The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), Essex County College, Rutgers University-Newark, Rutgers University-School of Law-, Seton Hall Law School and the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (UMDNJ). >>
