NJIT senior Sabrina Baby was named to the ESPN Magazine’s Academic All-America third-team for volleyball, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. Freshman Aggie Pregowska posted a season-high 38 kills and classmate Danielle Thompson set a new assists high with 63, leading NJIT in its 3-2 win over visiting Wilmington in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's volleyball Wednesday night. Sophomore Kelly Crowe scored 22 points as the NJIT women's basketball team defeated visiting Bloomfield College, 73-55, in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference action Saturday afternoon at the Fleisher Athletic Center.
