Carlos Rivera, a retired business owner who is an adjunct professor in the School of Management at NJIT, gave  the keynote speech at the opening ceremony in recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month this afternoon on the Campus Green. “You as individuals can make a difference,” Rivera said. “You can change one person's life. As a result, you are changing the world.” >>
In recognition of National Hispanic Heritage Month, an opening ceremony will be held on September 22, 2004 from 2:30-4 p.m. on the Campus Green.Carlos Rivera, a retired business owner who is an adjunct professor in the School of Management at NJIT, will be the keynote speaker at the event, which will also feature a live band and food.  >>
