Future Architects Think Outside the Box

A group of high school students spent the day and most of the night at NJIT building meditation rooms out of nothing more than UPS boxes and tape. The project is part of the New Jersey School of Architecture’s Summer Architecture Career Exploration Program, a two-day intensive class that teaches students what it is like to attend architecture school. Architecture Professor Named to Rutgers Redesign Competition Jury
Darius Sollohub, an assistant professor in the New Jersey School of Architecture, has been named to a panel of experts that will judge the international competition to redesign Rutgers University's College Avenue campus. The panel will evaluate and rank design concepts submitted by five teams of accomplished architecture and landscape firms.Professor Named IEE Professional Review Interviewer

Jim Robertson, assistant University librarian, has been selected in a national competition to attend the 2006 Frye Leadership Institute to be held June 4-16, in Atlanta, GA.
