The NJIT ASCE Steel Bridge Team has once again proved their engineering prowess by winning the 2009 Metropolitan Region Steel Bridge Competition held on April 4 at Polytechnic University in Brooklyn. Coopersmith received the NCE Distinguished Alumni Service Award in 2000 and served as the president of the NJIT Alumni Association in 1969.
