NJIT's Enterprise Development Center has received a Soft Landings international incubation designation from the National Business Incubation Association (NBIA). Through its Soft Landings program, the NBIA recognizes incubation programs that are especially capable of helping nondomestic companies enter the incubator's domestic market. The EDC was selected for the program because of its slate of business services for nondomestic firms and its demonstrated success at helping these firms enter the U.S. market. >>
The NJIT Defense Procurement Technical Assistance Center, in partnership with Joint Base M-D-L, the U.S. Army Reserve Contracting Center and the NAVAIR Small Business Program, will host a Joint Base Procurement Fair on August 13, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Burlington County College in Mt. “What's Your College Degree Worth?,” a Bloomberg Businessweek survey of 852 colleges and universities in the U.S. looking for the best return on investment (ROI), has highlighted NJIT as one of four undergraduate institutions of higher education in New Jersey that offers the best deal. Overall, NJIT ranks as number 81, in the top 10 percent of all colleges surveyed.  Princeton University, Stevens Institute of Technology and the College of New Jersey were also named among New Jersey's four best buys. >>
