Adult learners looking to start or re-start meaningful 21st century careers will not want to miss NJIT’s upcoming open house July 15 from 5-7:30 p.m. (EST). Geared to busy adults, the open house will feature and demonstrate specially selected NJIT academic and training programs structured for weekend learning and/or online learning. The event will take place in Fenster Hall, room 100, on the NJIT campus.

Free college courses ranging in content from English literature to quantum physics are now available on-line through a consortium started by MIT several years ago known as The Open Courseware Consortium. NJIT has recently been named a member of what has become a worldwide organization.

Last summer NJIT launched an affordable graduate online tuition rate for out-of-state students. “The new online tuition makes it possible for students anywhere in or outside the US to study full or part-time at NJIT,” said Gale Tenen Spak, associate vice president of the Division of Continuing Professional Education. Spak manages the program. “This is a good opportunity to access programs which offer the right courses for the right jobs and which are taught at a nationally-ranked science and technology university.” >>
