NJIT placed 29 student-athletes in six sports on the 2009-10 Winter/Spring Great West Conference All-Academic team. Junior guard Jheryl Wilson led the way with a game-high 23 points for NJIT in a program Division I record-setting 66-37 men’s basketball win over visiting Chicago State Saturday afternoon in the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center. Saturday’s win for the Highlanders raises their Great West Conference record to 1-2 and the game against Chicago State was the first at home for NJIT in its new conference. >>
