Katrina Hornstein, a senior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the Presidential Leadership Award for undergraduate students today from NJIT Dean of Students Jack Gentul at the annual Highlander Student Achievement Awards ceremony. Jaskirat Sodhi, a PhD student in mechanical engineering, received the award in the graduate student category. The awards recognize outstanding student leaders, student staff, campus organizations and programs as well as department and college award recipients. >>
Nine NJIT student-athletes in four sports were named to the Fall 2009 Great West Conference All-Academic team. The honorees were: Joe Ju (men's cross country); Cara Constantino, Iulia Doci, Daisy Gallegos, Kelsey Johnson (women's cross country); Christi Taylor (women's soccer); Sabrina Baby, Katrina Hornstein and Erica Schultz (women's volleyball). >>
