Jackson, PhD, professor in NJIT's Department of Chemistry and Environmental science, will discuss "Aeolian Sediment Transport on Managed Coastal Systems" on Nov. 29, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Guttenberg Information Technologies Center 3710. Jackson will present results of a two-year field investigation to assess differences in sediment transport across backshore and foredune environments in New Jersey that are managed for shore protection with those that are allowed to evolve naturally. >>
