NJIT's student organizations have rallied once again for their annual Noble November activities to raise awareness of those in need. Members of the Filipino Student Association, many of whom have families in the Philippines that have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan, have collected almost $1,000 for UNICEF. >>

The NJIT Campus Center and Career Development Services Civic Engagement with the Filipino Student Association are coordinating the Highlanders Helping Haiyan Victims relief drive to provide assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake and typhoon in the Philippines. >>

The doors are open to NJIT's new $80 million Warren Street Village, a unique, three-acre, 214,000-square-foot, mixed-use residential housing complex.  Completed as forecast in less than 18 months, the complex, bounded by Colden Street to the east, Warren Street to the north and Raymond Boulevard to the southwest, will add 600 beds to NJIT's existing inventory of residential housing.  In addition, the project will feature a new restaurant, convenience store and fitness center for the NJIT community. >>

NJIT will host its 1st Annual NJIT Innovation Day on April 19 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The event will take place in the Campus Center Atrium, where posters and exhibits from NJIT undergraduate and graduate students showcasing innovation can be viewed.  >>

The NJ Alliance for Action honored NJIT with its leading higher education award for spear-heading the construction of the Warren Street Village Project, a new honors residence hall, Greek houses and additional campus dining facilities scheduled to open on the NJIT campus this coming fall.     >>
