The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) NJIT Graduate Chapter, in conjunction with the Northern New Jersey Section of the AIAA, recently hosted a two-day glider building event and competition at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Every spring semester, second year students at NJIT's College of Architecture and Design are assigned a studio project to design a masonry building.  This year's project focused on the Harrison PATH Station and throughout the semester, ten teams produced and built their designs with the assistance of masonry journeymen. >>
It was a clean sweep: Over the weekend NJIT students won the regional steel bridge contest as well as the concrete canoe contest.  This marks the second year in a row that NJIT has won both contests.  >>
NJIT students Gaurav Majumdar, Karine Serrado, Carolina Ligorio and Rajesh Singh represented the MS Engineering Management team at the Regional Supply Chain Case Competition which recently took place at Rutgers University.  >>
