NJIT Doctoral Student Presents Research Paper at American Medical Informatics Association Symposium

NJIT's student organizations have rallied once again for their annual Noble November activities to raise awareness of those in need. Members of the Filipino Student Association, many of whom have families in the Philippines that have been affected by Typhoon Haiyan, have collected almost $1,000 for UNICEF.

The NJIT Campus Center and Career Development Services Civic Engagement with the Filipino Student Association are coordinating the Highlanders Helping Haiyan Victims relief drive to provide assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake and typhoon in the Philippines.

The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) NJIT Graduate Chapter, in conjunction with the Northern New Jersey Section of the AIAA, recently hosted a two-day glider building event and competition at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). The AIAA Glider Building Challenge was the first event of this kind held on the NJIT campus and was aimed at stimulating the creative skills and ingenuity of graduate and undergraduate students.
