U.S. News & World Report's Best Colleges 2014 Edition has once again named NJIT to the top tier of national universities for its range of undergraduate majors and master's and doctoral degrees. This year, NJIT was ranked 150th out of the 200+ institutions earning the distinction of top national universities. NJIT also ranked 6th in the nation for ethnic diversity.

Doors Open for NJIT's New $80M Student Housing Complex: 600 Beds Added

The doors are open to NJIT's new $80 million Warren Street Village, a unique, three-acre, 214,000-square-foot, mixed-use residential housing complex. Completed as forecast in less than 18 months, the complex, bounded by Colden Street to the east, Warren Street to the north and Raymond Boulevard to the southwest, will add 600 beds to NJIT's existing inventory of residential housing. In addition, the project will feature a new restaurant, convenience store and fitness center for the NJIT community.

Dr. Fanghua Hao, Vice President of Beijing Normal University, Chancellor Dr. Chuansheng Liu and several other representatives of the school met with NJIT President Joel Bloom on the morning of Jan. 28 to discuss similarities between the universities and how the two plan to collaborate together for a mutual beneficial future.
