SAT Preparation Program

The Center for Pre-College Programs at NJIT offers an SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test) Preparation Program for high school students currently in 8th to 12th grades. The SAT is the standardized test for college admission and measures students’ preparedness for higher education by testing the critical-thinking skills that are essential for success after high school. With ever-increasing competition to get into the best universities, the SAT Preparation Program will help all students succeed on this exam. The SAT Preparation Program is taught by certified instructors who reinforce knowledge already taught in school and introduce students to new concepts while providing valuable instruction and review in each SAT content area. The classes cover grammar, writing, vocabulary, critical reading, mathematical skills, and test-taking strategy. This comprehensive approach ensures that students not only learn strategies to answer every exam question but also focus on specific academic areas that need improvement. The SAT Preparation Program utilizes an intensive nontraditional methodology to teach techniques and strategies that will help students become smarter test-takers.
